Robert Schnitzer – Managing Director


Mr. Schnitzer is an investment banker, strategic visionary, media executive, film producer, director and screenwriter.  He has served as General Partner of numerous media funding transactions and is Founder/Chairman of Movicorp Media, Inc. and Founder/Board Director of Elation Media, Inc., two brands in the media-entertainment sector. 

Among his credits, Robert has sold, pre-sold and arranged funding for 4 motion pictures and dozens of television programs, some of which he wrote and directed, most of which he produced. 


Robert is also a board director of Mill Street Studios, an early stage movie studio and amusement complex being developed in Jackson, Mississippi. 

Mr. Schnitzer resides in Los Angeles, CA and Sedona, AZ.

DUANE DAHL – Chief Executive Officer-elect


Mr. Dahl is an entrepreneurial strategic leader and mentor with deep experience in launching new ventures and building world class businesses, resulting in 3 successful exits.  

From 1998 to 2015, Mr. Dahl promoted and managed over 300 concerts and festivals, including the Rolling Stones, Nirvana, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Pearl Jam, Michael Jackson, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire and Ted Turner’s World Goodwill Games.  

During this time, he also served as producer, advisor and/or creative consultant on multiple media ventures, including Warner Bros’ Must Love Dogs starring Diane Lane and John Cusack (2005), Dancing with the Stars (2008) and Columbia Pictures’ Paul Bart: Mall Cop (2009).

In 2002, Mr. Dahl sold publicly-traded, a company he founded in 1998, to Barry Diller’s IAC/ for $150 million (Jeffries Investment Bank). Kiss had generated $35 million in annual revenue with 24 employees.  Strategic corporate partners included LifetimeTV, Hearst, Comcast, AOL, Yahoo, MSN, MSNBC and Scripps.

From 2013 through 2017, Mr. Dahl led, an organic farm-to-table portal he founded and licensed to a Fortune 200 company for $3 million. In 2005, he founded and sold it for cash and stock in 2012 to Various, Inc. (now Friend Finder Networks), a global leader in social networking, online dating and entertainment.

Duane has achieved success in such diverse and highly competitive sectors as organic food, online dating, e-commerce, entertainment, health/fitness and energy/environment.  He is an authentic, agile executive with a proven track record for leading and mentoring teams including marketing, operations, HR, finance, procurement, customer service – and executing lucrative exit strategies.

Duane Dahl graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing.  He actively volunteers as a mentor to veterans in the LinkedIn/Starbucks/USO Hire Our Heroes program.  He currently resides in Southern California.

Christopher Saito - Chief Marketing Officer


Chris Saito is a creative, entrepreneurial Fortune 500 marketing executive with broad experience in diversified sectors, including consumer packaged goods, organic foods, entertainment and media.  He specializes in combining creativity with the ability to predict “what’s next” by applying contemporary marketing skills, emerging technologies, platforms and unique promotional models.

He is a proven leader with exceptional communication, management and motivational skills.  As a result of his professional engagements at data driven companies, Chris brings to the Company a deep understanding of analytic domains to derive strategic insights through modeling, decision analytics and business/promotional analysis. 

Some of the positions formerly held by Mr. Saito include product and marketing manager at Proctor & Gamble, PepsiCo and Journey to Organic; SVP Worldwide Marketing at Technicolor; VP Worldwide High Definition Brand Marketing at Paramount Pictures; VP Brand Marketing at Universal Pictures and Executive Director Brand Marketing at M-G-M Home Entertainment.

Mr. Saito graduated San Diego State University with a B.A. in Economics.

Kathy Close - VP Operations/Board Secretary


Kathy Close is a pioneer in holistic media, having produced and/or overseen the production of over 300 TV programs and DVD content in the natural lifestyle genre.  In addition, she has over 20 years’ experience in cross platform marketing, content creation, distribution, sales and project management.

Immediately prior to joining HIP Management, Ms Close has been a  consultant to Mr. Schnitzer and was instrumental in selecting the initial brands in HIP-1's current portfolio and recruiting the HIP Management team.  Ms Close earned a degree in Nuclear Medicine from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. 

Larry Haber – Financial Consultant


Mr. Haber is an investment banker and financial management executive.  His career began as a commercial lending officer for Bankers Trust Company in New York City for 9 years, followed by 2 years as a vice-president for a private New York investment company focusing on tax shelter investments.   In 1981, he was appointed Executive Vice President for NYC based RKO Century Warner Theatres and its parent holding company, The Almi Group.  Haber was instrumental in arranging financing for RKO to grow to thirty locations with over one hundred fifty screens, which properties were sold at a 17.5x cash flow multiple for $200 million seven years after its founding.


In 1985 he co-founded a boutique investment banking company and through 1998 served as an independent consultant and arranged financing with J.P. Morgan Investment Bank, the National Bank of Canada and the Bank of Tokyo.  In 1992, J.P. Morgan appointed him advisor to the board of directors of Mexico City-based Cinemex Theaters, which was subsequently sold for $100 million.


Haber also arranged financing for independent films, and worked as a turn-around specialist for companies including Alpine Lace Cheese, The Sharper Image and Georgette Klinger Salons.  In 1998, Haber was a founding principal of a Northeast theatre circuit.  The chain was sold in 2012.


A native New Yorker, Larry Haber earned a BA in political science from Syracuse University.  He is a member of the Friars Club of New York City and continues to consult for start-ups and early stage ventures.
